Just when you thought things couldn't get bigger in the world of MMA in November.

Before all eyes turn to UFC 205 in New York, Asia's biggest MMA promotion ONE Championship will be hosting its own blockbuster event called "ONE: Defending Honor" at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 11.

The fight card will stage two ONE Championship title fights with ONE lightweight world champion Shinya Aoki defending his title against Eduard Folayang of the Philippines, and in the co-main event, ONE featherweight world champion Marat Gafurov facing the former titleholder Narantungalag Jadambaa of Mongolia in a highly anticipated rematch.

Lightweight legend Shinya "Tobikan Judan" Aoki of Shizuoka, Japan, is one of the world's most decorated Asian mixed martial artists. He is a former DREAM lightweight champion, former Shooto welterweight champion, and the reigning ONE lightweight world champion.

The 33-year-old Aoki is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Yuki Nakai and has won multiple grappling tournaments across the globe. He also holds a black belt in judo and is a veteran of over 40 professional bouts with 25 victories coming by submission. Aoki hasn't fought in over year but is currently riding a nine-fight win streak. He will be looking to take his run into double figures on November 11. 

Eduard "Landslide" Folayang of the famed Team Lakay in Baguio City is one of the Philippines' most experienced mixed martial artists. The wushu specialist has amassed a stellar 16-5-0 mixed martial arts record and has recently put back-to-back wins together against Tetsuya Yamada and Adrian Pang. Folayang will get the opportunity of a lifetime when he steps inside the cage against Aoki. Folayang will be looking continuing Team Lakay's amazing run of 14 straight wins inside the ONE Championship cage.

In the co-main event, Marat "Cobra" Gafurov of Dagestan, Russia will defend his ONE featherweight title for the second time.

Gafurov is an undefeated mixed martial artist with 14 wins and no losses. The Russian captured the featherweight title last year with a gutsy victory over former champion Narantungalag Jadambaa in an epic battle. Now the two are set to lock horns once again inside the ONE Championship cage in a much-awaited rematch.
