3 Reasons to Watch Xtreme Fight League 336
Tulsa, Oklahoma is a fighting town always ready for a great show, and that's exactly what Xtreme Fight League delivers.

A slew of superfights and massive MMA stars will be on hand for Xtreme Fight Night 336 on Saturday, October 1 at 7 PM CDT.

It's a stacked 10-bout MMA and kickboxing event that will be available LIVE, only on FloCombat.

Here are three reasons to watch Xtreme Fight Night 336:

1. Mir on the Mic

It's a throwback to the heydays of the WEC. Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir will be the color commentator for Xtreme Fight Night.

During his time as the WEC's color commentator, Mir was widely regarded as one of the smartest and most entertaining guys on the call. He was the voice behind the rise of future UFC stars like Jose Aldo and Urijah Faber.

Mir lost his gig to Stephan Bonnar after the heavyweight made some errant, pre-fight trash talk about killing Brock Lesnar before UFC 100. Fight fans have been clamoring for Mir's return to the headset ever since.

Xtreme Fight League is giving the fans just what the want, a chance to listen to one of their favorite commentators in the game.

If you want to hear one of most entertaining fighters in the game call fights, tune into FloCombat on Saturday night.

2. Groomed for a Shoot Fight

Although Brandon Groom hasn't fought in a year, he's certainly been active.

On most nights, Groom (3-1) is a pro wrestler. He's had stints in the WWE and its developmental promotion, Florida Championship Wrestling, but now wrestles on the independent scene all over the nation.

On Saturday night, Groom is breaking away from his kayfabe character and taking a fight against XFN middleweight champion Canaan Grigsby (6-4).

Grigsby, a Legacy FC veteran, won his title when he knocked out Matt McKeon in the third round in April. In Grigsby's last fight, he won a doctor's stoppage TKO against John Bryant. He is moving up to 205 pounds to take on Groom.

Groom's last fought in a heavyweight bout in May 2015, when he tapped to strikes from Jon Hill at Rage in the Cage OKC.

Will Groom return to the squared circle with a loss or can he top the XFN's top middleweight?

3. Super Fights Galore

Matching up the best fighters can be difficult for a promotion, but Xtreme Fight League is making it look easy with this fight card.

Xtreme Fight Night 336 features a crowd-pleasing pair of superfights. The first is a mixed-rules fight between the promotion's kickboxing and MMA champions. Then the promotion's super-heavyweight title is on the line in its kickboxing main event.

Alfred Walker is the XFN 155-pound kickboxing champion, but he is entering a different world on Saturday night when he takes on Aaron Robinson, XFN's 155- pound MMA champion. The fight will be two rounds of kickboxing, then two rounds of MMA.

Walker has a 5-5 record in MMA, so he isn't entering this fight blind. However, his last MMA bout was over a year ago, and he lost by TKO. Robinson (7-5), on the other hand, is on a two-fight win streak. He most recently defeated Edgar Urias with a first-round submission.

The super-heavyweight kickboxing title fight pits reigning champion Haze Wilson against Bellator and Glory veteran Roy Boughton. Both Wilson (18-2) and Boughton (14-6) are extremely experienced, and it's not likely that these two big men will make it to the fifth and final round.

If Rizin FF 2 got you feeling nostalgic for how crazy MMA can get, fire up your FloPRO accounts Saturday night for Xtreme Fight Night 336.
