Professional handsome man/actor Idris Elba is about to throw some hands.

Known worldwide as the titular character of the BBC One's hit show, "Luther​," Elba will soon be able to include another role on his resume: professional fighter.

Elba is currently filming a three-part documentary for Discovery Networks International called "Idris Elba: Fighter," a series that will follow the actor's training in Cuba, Thailand, and South Africa before culminating in a professional kickboxing bout.

Elba's been posting short clips of his training, and it looks like he's got some hands. For a 43-year-old whose only experience in combat sports was a handful of cardio kickboxing classes in his early 20s, he has a handle on the techniques and footwork necessary to be successful in kickboxing.
