Only two weeks have passed since the conclusion of the bitter feud between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Claudia Gadelha, but already the Polish champion is eyeing up her next opponent.

After come through her battle with her Brazilian nemesis Gadelha relatively unscathed, Jedrzejczyk is looking to get back in the Octagon in quick time and yesterday at the UFC on Fox 20 Q&A session laid out her plans.

"I know that I'm ready to fight again and that I have no injuries after my fight with Claudia Gadelha," Jedrzejczyk said. "I'm ready to go and I really want to fight in New York but if they [UFC] don't put me on this card then nothing is going to happen I will just want to fight within two or three months.

"I used to fight every three months. I had five fights in fifteen months but I couldn't fight quick after my last fight with Valerie [Letourneau] because I broke my hand. I'm fine now though and I'm ready to go. I don't know exactly who will be my next opponent, it might be Rose Namajunas. We will see, first of all she must win against Karolina."

Rose Namajunas faces Jedrzejczyk's fellow Polish strawweight Karolina Kowalkiewicz next week at UFC 201. The champion gave her perspective on what she thought the consequences of that fight would be.

"If Rose beats Karolina then I think she will get the title shot," Jedrzejczyk said. "If Karolina beats Rose then I think she will have one more fight before she gets her shot at the title. But, yes I can fight in New York this year and then I can fight in Poland against Karolina Kowalkiewicz if she deserves it."
