A featherweight bout between Yair Rodriguez and Alex "Bruce Leeroy" Caceres is targeted for the main event slot in the UFC's first-ever fight event in Utah. 

The card, which takes place on August 6 and air live on Fox Sports 1, is scheduled for Salt Lake City. 

Sources close to the bout confirmed the news to FloCombat on Thursday afternoon. 

Rodriguez is riding a six-fight winning streak, and has won all four of his bouts under the UFC banner. He is considered one of the UFC's best prospects at any weight. 

Caceres competed last week at UFC 199, beating the veteran Cole Miller by unanimous decision.
